Persistence unknown: one post or a lifetime? probably somewhere in between.

Why the blog? the trigger: A project in my head to convert my Smart Roadster to hydrogen electric.

Feasible, possibly, some components probably / possibly still a year off [or five] - haven't done a whole lot of research yet, haven't crunched any of the power numbers, but my 'feel' (it's an intellectual, not a gut thing) is that we're ready.

Why the project? www.PeakOil.Com is great, but people busy predicting the end of the oil age (generally - members of www.vhemt.org exempted) should be finding reasons to be optimistic about alternative energy generation and transport. So, I'm tired of doomers saying hydrogen can't work - I believe it can, today or very soon. Plus it's good for the environment. Plus it'll make my little lightweight sports-car go VERY FAST INDEED :-)

Finally - I like to rant about all sorts of things, my friends love me for it ;-) So with this blog I can rant away whenever I need to, without having to wait till I have some good friend sat down and unable to easily escape. Short example follows.
