In the beginning...

In the beginning, there existed a bit. The bit was existence.

and the bit said: Am I on or off? And what is 'on' and what is 'off'?

So the bit said: Let there be spin, and this way is infinity, and the other is zero. And so it was.

The bit said, what if I were to exist, but be zero?

So the bit said: Let there be time, so I can change from infinity to zero. And there was.

And the bit could become a message.

And the bit thought, if there is is spin-infinity, and there is spin-zero, then there must be an Axis, and every point along that axis exists, and so every point is a bit, and every point has spin, and every point persists through time.
